This preparation guide is meant for Bed Bug infestations.

Before the treatment

  1. Move any items/ furniture 4-6 inches away from the walls so that the baseboard is accessible.

  2. Remove all bedsheets, pillow cases and blankets from the bed.

  3. Lift up mattresses and box springs and place them on their sides. If your mattress/ box spring is still in its plastic, remove that as well and discard it.

  4. Launder bedsheets, pillow cases, furniture covers, blankets, drapes and any clothing found on the ground using the hottest setting on your washing machine. Dry in a dryer using the highest heat setting.

  5. Vacuum the floor thoroughly and discard the contents collected by the vacuum in your garbage bin outside. This should be done routinely as well even after the treatment.

  6. Be ready to leave your residence for 4-6 hours upon our arrival. This ensures that any pesticide we apply has dried up before re-entry.

After the treatment

  1. Open up windows to ventilate the home/business for at least 30 minutes.

  2. Do not use a wet mop against the baseboard or treated areas.

  3. Buy & install bug proof mattress/ box spring covers.

  4. Be patient as the treatment can take some time to show results.
