Earwigs

Size: 5 - 15mm.

Color: Reddish brown.

Unique Characteristics: Found all over the world, Earwigs prefer dark areas with moisture. They can be found in cracks, gaps and crevices along the foundation of homes. They mostly feed on insects and plants and although not dangerous, they can cause damage to flowers and vegetation which can be a big annoyance to homeowners. They have the ability to produce a scent that attracts more earwigs. This can lead to a fast infestation if not handled in a timely manner.
